At Hund & Shore, we use premium Biothane® — a TPU coated webbing that is fully waterproof, odour-resistant, non-toxic, and incredibly durable. Unlike nylon or leather, biothane wipes clean in seconds and holds up through every adventure your dog throws at it. It's the material of choice for dog owners who want high-quality, stylish, and functional dog collars and leashes that genuinely last. Think of it as the premium waterproof alternative to leather — without any of the maintenance.
2. Are you a Canadian brand? Where are you based? Yes — Hund & Shore is a proudly Canadian dog accessories brand based in Ottawa, Ontario. We design and ship premium biothane dog collars, leashes, and accessories across Canada, the United States, and internationally. We also offer free local pickup for Ottawa-area customers. At checkout, simply select "Store Pickup (Local pick-up — Ottawa, ON)" and we'll be in touch to arrange a convenient time.
3. Do you offer stylish and customizable dog collar and leash options? Absolutely — and it's kind of our whole thing. Hund & Shore was built for dog owners who believe their dog's gear should be as considered as their own. We offer premium biothane dog collars and leashes in a wide range of colours and hardware finishes, organized into seasonal collections. Every colourway is carefully designed to be both functional and fashion-forward. We also offer customized sizing across all collars, harnesses and leashes. We ship across Canada and the United States, and have recently expanded internationally to France, Germany and Spain — with more countries coming soon. 5. Do you offer cat collars? Yes — we offer cat collars in a 1/2" width by request, available across our full range of colours and hardware choices. 7. Are your dog toys safe and durable? We curate our toy collection with safety and quality in mind — but as with all pet toys, please never leave your pet unsupervised during play. Remove any toy that becomes ripped, broken or damaged. While many of our toys are extremely durable they are not indestructible, and pets should never ingest toys or pieces of toys. Check individual product descriptions for durability ratings so you can find the right toy for your dog's play style.
